Students from Mr. Cramer's Summer Agriculture Experience headed to the east branch of the Rock River for stream monitoring last week! This is part of the Water Action Volunteers program collecting data for the Wisconsin DNR on surface water quality. Students are performing assessments to collect data on streamflow, clarity, and macroinvertebrate life to gain a better understanding of water quality. GREAT scholarship opportunity for students entering their junior/senior years of college! The TED BACHHUBER MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP is available to MHS grads who did not receive a Grace Bachhuber scholarship. Students must be going into their junior or senior year of a baccalaureate degree program at a college or university. A student pursuing a degree in business, engineering, or technology, as related to business will be given priority consideration. Applicants must have/maintain a 2.5 or better cumulative grade point average. The scholarship is in the amount of $7,000/year for up to a two-year period of time for a baccalaureate degree. A scholarship application form is available in the SCHOLARSHIPS link to the Guidance/Pupil Services section of Mayville High School’s web page (www.mayvilleschools.com).
