Our FBLA Club is very excited to host the first annual Formal Consignment Sale for grades 7-12! What do you do with all those formal dresses, dress shirts, dress pants, suits, and accessories!? Drop them off on Fri, 1/9 from 3:30-6pm or on Sat, 1/10 from 8am-2pm at the MHS lower-level Cardinal Entrance. The sale will take place 1/16-1/19. This is a fundraising event with 60% going to the consignor (you) and 40% to the consignee (FBLA Club). All formal wear must be dry cleaned prior to dropping off. Questions? Kindergartners at MES had so much fun at the Sensational Senses Party last month! This was a culminating activity after completing a Five Senses literacy unit. Some of the activities included guessing what was making the sound in plastic eggs, guessing smells within jars, sampling foods and trying to determine if they were sweet, salty, bitter, or sour, and sorting materials by texture by rough, smooth, bumpy, hard, or soft. Our 8th graders at MHS had the opportunity to adopt an Honor Flight Veteran this year. Mr. Dale Herrick, Vietnam Vet, flew out of Green Bay Austin Straubel Airport on November 1st. He received a letter, a poster and cards of gratitude created by our students while on his flight home from Washington D.C. on Saturday evening. Eighth graders did a fabulous job writing to someone they did not know, showing their empathy, gratitude and appreciation to Mr. Herrick through the “Mail Call”! #mayvillecardinals #mayvilleschools #cardinalpride

He received a letter, a poster and cards of gratitude created by our 8th graders while on his flight home from Washington D.C. on Saturday evening. Eighth graders did a fabulous job writing to someone they did not know, showing their empathy, gratitude and appreciation to Mr. Herrick through the “Mail Call”!
