Our Mayville musicians had a successful showing at our MHS-hosted Vocal and Instrumental Solo Ensemble district-level event on Saturday, 2/26. In total we have 28 events going to State! The combined festival had 55 events go to State from 9 Schools, and our Mayville Cardinals are responsible for over half of them! This sets a record for the number of musicians we’ve sent to State! Overall results included 28 Starred Firsts (State-bound), 10 Class A Firsts, 12 Class A Seconds, 2 Class B Firsts and 4 Class B Seconds.
