GREAT scholarship opportunity for students entering their junior/senior years of college! The TED BACHHUBER MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP is available to MHS grads who did not receive a Grace Bachhuber scholarship. Students must be going into their junior or senior year of a baccalaureate degree program at a college or university. A student pursuing a degree in business, engineering, or technology, as related to business will be given priority consideration. Applicants must have/maintain a 2.5 or better cumulative grade point average. The scholarship is in the amount of $7,000/year for up to a two-year period of time for a baccalaureate degree. A scholarship application form is available in the SCHOLARSHIPS link to the Guidance/Pupil Services section of Mayville High School’s web page (www.mayvilleschools.com). Mayville Manufacturing wrapped up the year last week, but one of their biggest projects, a bandstand for the Theresa Lions Club, left the shop today! Their other large build was a shed for the Mayville Rotary. The shed will be used for storage of the kayaks and equipment that Rotary has donated to the community alongside the Pavilion. While Mother Nature did not cooperate this spring keeping the team from starting the project as early as they’d hoped, they have a dedicated crew and will be finishing soon! Mr. Seiler and the Mayville Manufacturing team look forward to another successful year this fall.
