Mr. Seegert, a Mayville Jr/Senior High science teacher and tennis coach, was recently diagnosed with Acute Lymphoid Leukemia Philadelphia+. Our student body is raising funds for his family to help cover medical costs, travel costs and other expenses. ATHLETICS UPDATES for next week!! Volleyball vs. Laconia has been moved to Tuesday, Oct. 3rd, and the football game vs. St. Mary's Springs has been moved to Thursday, Oct. 5th. Tuesday's Volleyball game is Senior night, and all concessions and admissions sales will go towards supporting our science teacher and head tennis coach, Brad Seegert, with his fight against leukemia. Thursday's game is parents/senior night, and the game will be featured on Wissports' Thursday Night Throwdown production. At halftime, our state runner-up softball team will be presented with the WIAA/Rural Mutual Insurance Sportsmanship Award, given to the team that exhibited exemplary sportsmanship at last spring's WIAA State Championship.
