About Us
Welcome to Mayville Jr/Sr High School! We are the home of the Cardinals.
We're glad that you have taken an interest in our school. We are proud of what we are able to offer students. Our students may choose coursework from a comprehensive curriculum that features paths of study for college-bound students, those heading for technical college, and vocational courses for students entering the work force immediately following after graduation. With an array of sports, our young athletes develop teamwork, sportsmanship, and physical skill. We allow our students to tap their talents through Show Choir, FFA, DECCA, Mock Trial, and Student Council.
All students are encouraged to pursue an academically rigorous selection of courses. Advanced placement (AP) courses are available in Calculus, Literature, Biology, and United States History. STEM curriculum supports applied problem-solving having students demonstrate deep and robust understanding through classroom projects and regional competitions. Youth apprenticeships, cooperative education, employment release, and Youth Options are also available to students. Transcripted Credit (TC) is available through Moraine Park Technical College, the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh, and Mayville High School.
Mayville Jr/Sr High School students access all available post-secondary options. Forty percent of our students attend a four-year university, 10% attend a two-year university, 5% join the military, and 25% attend a technical college. Students entering the workforce commonly integrate work with college courses comprising approximately 20% of our graduates.
